To mark the centenary of the publication of Heywood Sumner's "The Ancient Earthworks of the New Forest" , NFHAG have issued a photographic reproduction of this rare book.

The New Forest History and Archaeology Group was founded in 2008 to replace the New Forest section of the Hampshire Field Club. The focus of the group is on practical fieldwork and recording of the Forest's archaeology and local history.
